Allergy to mustard

An individual who has allergy to mustard is considered as an uncommon type of allergy. The common foods that can trigger an allergic reaction include wheat, fish, soy, shellfish, milk, eggs, tree nuts and peanuts. Treatment

An effective treatment for mustard allergy is to undergo assessment and avoid consuming foods that contain mustard. If the individual accidentally consumes mustard, you can provide antihistamines can help relieve a minor allergic response such as skin irritation, runny nose and nasal congestion.

In case of severe allergic reactions, it would require an epinephrine shot to counteract the symptoms. Always remember that a severe reaction can be dangerous and even result to death if not treated right away.
