Baby CPR

This Baby CPR course is a course taught exclusively by Vancouver First Aid. This course is designed for New Parents and caretakers looking to learn Baby CPR or to refresh there CPR skills. Learn to save the life of your newborn by learning to recognize and treat emergency situations. Instructors will also teach preventative tips to prevent serious accidents from happening to your newborn.

It can be very difficult for new parents to leave a newborn and come to take a CPR course. Instead of having to come to our training facility, an instructor will come to you! This is a private course which is taught by a certified Red Cross or Lifesaving Society first aid instructor that will cater to your learning style. Within approximately 1 to 2 hours an instructor will teach you and/or your partner (and family members) how to do Baby CPR. An instructor will bring mannequins and other teaching tools to give you the best training possible.

The instructor will cover the following topics in your private Baby CPR course:

  • Unconscious, non-breathing Baby CPR.
  • Conscious, partially obstructed airway (partial choking).
  • Conscious, fully obstructed airway (complete choking).
  • Unconscious, fully obstructed airway (complete choking).
  • Baby CPR complications.

The course fee is 120.00* (price may change based on travel time and large number of parcipants)

Course length: 1 to 2 hours
