Arthritis involves inflammation that oftentimes arises in one or several joints in the body. The resulting inflammation might trigger swelling, pain and rigidity in the affected joints. It is important to note that these flare-ups might be an indication that the disease is worsening.

Echinacea is also a possible root of flare-ups among those with rheumatoid arthritis. This is an herb that is believed to stimulate the immune system. Dealing with flare-ups from other forms

When it comes to psoriatic arthritis, the cold weather during winter is often the trigger for the flare-ups. Being exposed to windy, cold weather dries out the skin and for those with sensitive skin, it results to increased inflammation, cracking and pain.

As for the arthritis flare-ups from osteoarthritis, it is usually due to overuse, joint injuries or engaging in repetitive activities.
