Emergency Childcare First Aid Courses
Vancouver First Aid offers childcare first aid courses. Courses are available throughout the Lower Mainland, including Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, Delta and Vancouver. This first aid class is designed for people who are required to have emergency childcare first aid and CPR certification. Candidates for this first aid training include, childcare workers, teachers, daycare employee’s and anybody who’s employment requires them to tend to children.
Curriculum:
Emergency childcare first aid and CPR courses include infant and child CPR, treatment of minor injuries and specific injuries and illness’ associated with infants and children such as shaking baby syndrome. Childcare first aid candidates will also learn to recognize and treat for medical conditions and injuries such as concussions and fevers. Candidates will receive very similar training as candidates enrolled in a emergency first aid course.
A Red Cross Childcare First Aid Book is issued to each Childcare First Aid course participant.
No Pressure:
Candidates enrolled in this course will have the opportunity to re-take the course if they do not complete the course in the first attempt. We understand that people learn at different speeds and with different methods. We offer a free re-take of the course as part of our no-pressure policy.
Cost of Course:
The cost of this course is 75.00 dollars. Course fee includes Red Cross certification fee’s, childcare first aid manual and taxes.
Length of the Course:
The length of this course is 8 hours.
Certification:
Candidates that successfully complete the course will receive a Red Cross emergency childcare first aid and CPR certificate that is valid for 3 years. Candidates may be required to re-take the course at an earlier date based on employee policy.

To register for a Red Cross emergency childcare first aid course please select the desired date, time and location from the selection below. Complete the registration form and pre-pay to guarantee yourself a spot in the course. Our online secured payment system accepts credit card, debit card or PayPal. Cancellation and Transfer Policy:
Transfers and refunds are only accepted 72 hours prior to the start of the course. Candidates requesting a refund 72 hours prior to the course will receive a 100% refund.
