Vancouver First Aid proudly offers FOOD SAFE level 1 and FOOD SAFE level 2 courses in Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, Delta and North Vancouver. This course is designed to teach candidates food handling, sanitation and other safety measures for people working in the food service industry. This course is the ideal course for cooks, servers, dishwashers and anybody that works in the food handling, service and packaging industry. Participants will also learn about food-borne illnesses, how to prepare, receive and serve food safely. Participants will also learn techniques with cleaning and sanitizing dish ware’s. To register for FOODSAFE level 1 or level 2 click the course that you need from above or from the main menu. Registration can be completed on-line, through telephone or email. Courses are available throughout the week, on weekends and even on week-nights.
Food Safe Course Length:
The length of the level 1 course is 8 hours. The length of a level 2 course is approximately 16 hours (2 day course minimum).
Is On-Line Training Available?
Yes, we offer on-line food safe training. Participants can complete the on-line course which takes approximately 6 to 10 hours and complete the final examination at one of our training centres.
Food Safe Courses are available at our training locations or via private lessons at your location in Vancouver, Burnaby, Surrey, Richmond, Coquitlam, Delta and North Vancouver. Our main training locations with weekly courses are available in Vancouver and Surrey (Newton).

Cost of Food Safe Courses:
The cost of the level 1 course is 75 dollars. The cost of a level 2 course is 110 dollars. Course fee includes training manual, certification fee’s and taxes. No hidden fee’s.
Participants that successfully complete the course will receive a Food Safe certificate that meets workplace requirements.
