A parking officer rushes to perform CPR on a man suffering a heart attack. Although parking enforcement officers get a bad rap, they are also people. This worker from Metro Vancouver was recognized as a hero.

Saving a man suffering a heart attack

The parking enforcement officer Jason Vickers was on the job when he came across a vehicle that appeared to be stuck in Burnaby. It turns out that there was a man inside suffering a heart attack.

Vickers jumped into action, calling 911 and delivering CPR until emergency responders arrived. Vickers stated that they removed him and started CPR. It was around 5 minutes until Burnaby firefighters arrived and took over the scene.

The driver was stabilized and rushed to a healthcare facility. There has been no update on his condition.
