Two Prince Edward Islanders saved the life of a man with rapid delivery of CPR. The man collapsed during an auction in Kensington.
Saving a life
Thomas Smallman, a trained firefighter delivered CPR with Marlene Lawrence, an auction house employee until the arrival of the paramedics. Smallman stated that most people at the event froze when the man collapsed.
Lawrence was checking for a pulse. The man did not have a pulse and his ear lobes are starting to turn bluish and purple as well as his lips. CPR was started and in a couple of minutes, the color started to return.
