CPR given to victims of assault case

Victims of an assault case were given CPR. Daryle Wayne Johnson is facing charges of second-degree murder and aggravated assault.

The man is charged in the November 9 murder and aggravated assault in Esquimalt. He has a long history of violence.

The officers performed CPR until the arrival of the paramedics and transported the man to a healthcare facility where he later succumbed to his injuries.

At around 9 PM, Victoria police arrived at an apartment building in the 600-block of Grenville Ave. to a chaotic scene where a man was unresponsive and suffering from severe injuries.

The officers performed CPR until the arrival of the paramedics and transported the man to a healthcare facility where he later succumbed to his injuries. A second man was also injured but is expected to fully recover.

Daryle Wayne Johnson, 49-years old, appeared in court to face charges of second-degree murder and aggravated assault charges.
