Emergency Childcare First Aid Courses Curriculum with Vancouver First Aid
Emergency childcare first aid and CPR courses include infant and child CPR, treatment of minor injuries and specific injuries and illness’ associated with infants and children such as shaken baby syndrome. Childcare first aid candidates will also learn to recognize and treat for medical conditions and injuries such as concussions and fevers.

Typical participants of this childcare first aid training course include daycare and childcare workers as well as new parents.
Cost of Course
The cost of this course is 93.99. Course fee includes an online manual, certification fee and all applicable taxes. Hard copy manuals are available for an additional $20.
Length of the Course
The length of this course is 8 hours.
Certification
Childcare first aid includes CPR level “B” training
Candidates that successfully complete the course will receive an Emergency Childcare First Aid and CPR certificate that is valid for 3 years. Candidates may be required to re-certify the course at an earlier date based on their employer’s policy. Participants that successfully complete the course will receive a wallet sized certificate. Wall mount certificates are available upon request from the instructor at the completion of the course.

Refunds, Transfer and Cancellations:
Refunds are not accepted within 72 hours of the original course. Transfers within 72 hours are charged 25 dollars. Candidates that request a refund or transfer prior to 72 hours of the original course registered will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
