Emergency Childcare First Aid Courses 

Vancouver First Aid provides emergency childcare first aid courses throughout the Lower Mainland, in convenient locations including in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Coquitlam, Surrey, Richmond, Coquitlam, West Vancouver, Delta and Vancouver. This course is ideal for childcare workers, teachers, daycare staff, and anyone responsible for the care and safety of children, whether in a personal or professional setting.

Emergency Childcare First Aid Course Curriculum:

Our Emergency Childcare First Aid and CPR course provides essential training focused on the care of infants and children. Participants will learn infant and child CPR, how to treat minor injuries, and how to respond to specific conditions and illnesses associated with children, such as shaken baby syndrome. The course also covers the recognition and treatment of medical conditions and injuries like concussions and fevers.

Who Should Take This Course:

This course is ideal for daycare and childcare workers, as well as new and expecting parents who want to be prepared for emergencies involving infants and young children.

Course Cost:

• $93.99 (includes access to an online manual)
• Hard copy manuals are available for an additional $20

Course Duration:

This course is completed in 8 hours.

Certification

Candidates who successfully complete the course will receive an Emergency Childcare First Aid and CPR certificate, valid for three years. Please note that some employers may require recertification before the three-year period ends, depending on their policies.

Participants will receive a convenient wallet-sized certification card upon course completion. Wall-mount certificates are also available upon request from the instructor at the end of the course.

Refunds, Transfer and Cancellations:

Refunds are not accepted within 72 hours of the original course. Transfers within 72 hours are charged 25 dollars. Candidates that request a refund or transfer prior to 72 hours of the original course registered will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
