Emergency first aid is one of the most popular courses offer in Vancouver First Aid Ltd. This course, also referred to as basic first aid, is offered in Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta, Surrey, Richmond and Vancouver. This course comes standard with CPR Level “A” and has the option of including CPR level “C”. This first aid and CPR course also includes AED training. What Will I Learn with Emergency First Aid Courses in Vancouver First Aid?
Emergency first aid courses teach candidates to treat victims of the following emergencies:
Unconscious breathing and non-breathing victims
Cardiac arrest
Conscious and unconscious obstructed airway (choking)
External bleeding
Cardiovascular emergencies including heart attack, angina, stroke and TIA
Respiratory emergencies such as hyperventilation, asthma and anaphylaxis
No Pressure:
We offer a no pressure course that caters to different learning methods and speeds. If you do not complete the course the first time candidates are allowed to re-take the course and only pay the administration fee.
Emergency First Aid Course Cancellation Policy:
Full refunds and transfer can be completed as long as they are requested prior to 72 hours from the original course.
Emergency First Aid Courses Cost in Vancouver First Aid:
Emergency first aid with CPR level “A” and AED costs 84.99
Emergency first aid with CPR level “C” and AED costs 89.99
Course fee includes an online manual, certification fee and all applicable taxes. Hard copy manuals are available for an additional $20.
Emergency First Aid Course Length:
This course takes 8 hours to complete.
Emergency First Aid Re-Certifications:
Re-Certifications are available for this course. To register for a renewal course select the emergency first aid re-certification course from the side menu bar or from the main menu.
Emergency First Aid Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course candidates will immediately receive a emergency / basic first aid certification card that is valid for 3 years. The certificate will also state candidates completion of CPR level “A” or “C” and AED. This certificate is nationally accredited.

Refunds, Transfer and Cancellations:
Refunds are not accepted within 72 hours of the original course. Transfers within 72 hours are charged 25 dollars. Candidates that request a refund or transfer prior to 72 hours of the original course registered will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
