Standard Childcare First Aid Courses in Vancouver First Aid
Standard childcare first aid courses are designed for childcare workers, daycare workers parents and youth caretakers. It is one of the most comprehensive first aid and CPR courses. To register for a standard childcare first aid course with CPR level “B” fill out the registration form on the bottom of the page.
Course Content:
The course is very similar to the standard first aid with CPR level “C” course, however, it has additional childcare first aid components. Automated external defibrillator (AED) training comes standard with the course.
CPR included:
In this course, we mandate the completion of standard CPR level “B” and do not permit the combination of any other CPR level with it. Furthermore, we incorporate AED training into this course.
Course Length:
The course is 16 hours in length and is normally completed within two consecutive days.
Course Cost:
The cost of this course is 149.99. Included in the fee is the certification fee, childcare first aid manual and all applicable taxes. Wall mount certificates are also available upon completion.
Prerequisites:
Candidate must be at least 12 years of age to attend the course. No other prerequisites are required.
Certifications for Standard Childcare First Aid Courses in Vancouver First Aid:
Candidates who successfully complete the course will receive a standard childcare first aid and CPR level “B” certificate, accredited by the workplace. The certificate also includes AED training.
Re-Certifications:
You cannot obtain re-certifications for this course. To maintain your certification, candidates must retake the entire course.
**Course Duration: A minimum of two days is necessary to complete the Standard Childcare First Aid with CPR B and AED course. The listed dates indicate the course start dates.
