Candidates must present a valid certification from an accredited provider such as St. Mark James, the Red Cross, the Lifesaving Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or St. John Ambulance. This CPR course represents the highest level of CPR training offered by the Red Cross, St. Mark James, and the Lifesaving Society.
Prerequisites for CPR-HCP & AED Recertification Courses:
To qualify for CPR-HCP & AED Recertification, candidates must:
Have completed a full or recertification course within the past one year.
Provide a valid certification card from a recognized Canadian provider, including St. John Ambulance, the Red Cross, St. Mark James Training, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Lifesaving Society.
Important Notes:
Expired certification cards will not be accepted.
Candidates who fail to present a valid certification card at the start of the class will not receive a recertification card.
Certification:
Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a certification card issued by the instructor. This certification is valid for one year.
The cost of the CPR-HCP recertification course is $49.99. This fee includes access to an online manual. A hard copy manual is available for an additional $20.
