Emergency First Aid Recertifications Courses in Vancouver First Aid
Vancouver First Aid Ltd offers Emergency First Aid Recertifications Courses in Vancouver. Courses are available throughout the Lower Mainland, including Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, Delta and Vancouver. Emergency First Aid (EFA) recert courses includes CPR A recertification, however, candidates can request another CPR recertification if required. Students enrolled in this renewal class will review topics covered in the Emergency First Aid full course and the instructor will focus candidates in areas needing improvement and on changes to standards / curriculum. Course length is dependent on class size and candidate background. It is recommended to renew your EFA certificate at least once every three years. Certification for Emergency First Aid Recertifications in Vancouver:
Candidates that successfully complete this course will receive a workplace approved emergency first aid, CPR and AED certificate that is valid for 3 years. Certification meets government and legislative standards and is nationally
accredited.
Course Cost:
The cost of a emergency first aid, CPR and AED re-certification is 74.99 to 79.99. Course fee includes an online manual, certification fee and all applicable taxes. Hard copy manuals are available for an additional $10.
Prerequisites:
In order to attend a workplace approved emergency first aid and CPR re-certification candidates are required to meet the following prerequisites:
Candidates must have completed a full or re-cert emergency first aid and CPR course within the past 3 years.
Candidates must have completed a full or re-cert emergency first aid and CPR course through a credible provider. Credible providers include St Mark James Training, the Canadian Red Cross, Lifesaving Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Johns Ambulance.
Candidates must have completed the previous course within Canada. The certificates have national accreditation but do not have international accreditation.
You must present your previous card to the instructor at the start of the class. We will not issue recertification cards if you do not present your previous card.
Course Length:
The length of a emergency first aid re-certification is approximately 6 to 8 hours.

Refunds, Transfer and Cancellations:
Refunds are not accepted within 72 hours of the original course. Transfers within 72 hours are charged 25 dollars. Candidates that request a refund or transfer prior to 72 hours of the original course registered will receive a full refund. There are no refunds for rescheduled events.
