
In CPR Level “A,” participants will gain essential lifesaving skills and knowledge, including:
- Proper use of CPR manikins and AED devices for hands-on training
- Understanding the first aider’s role in emergency situations
- The “Check, Call, Care” approach to emergency response
- H.A.I.N.E.S. recovery position for unconscious but breathing victims
- Assisting with medications during emergencies
- Recognizing and responding to angina and heart attacks
- Identifying the signs of a stroke and providing appropriate care
- Managing adult choking emergencies
- Performing CPR on adults
- Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Treating deadly external bleeding
