To qualify for a Standard First Aid and CPR Level āCā recertification course, candidates must have completed a full certification or a recertification course within the past three years. Previous certification must be obtained through a recognized Canadian provider, such as St. Mark James Training, the Red Cross, the Lifesaving Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or St. John Ambulance.
Participants are required to present their valid certification card to the instructor at the beginning of the class. Failure to provide this card will result in the non-issuance of a recertification card.
Please note that internationally accredited certificates are not accepted for recertification. Additionally, certificates earned through 100% online courses are not eligible for renewal. However, blended learning certificates are acceptable, provided they were issued by one of the recognized Canadian providers listed above.
