Victim of the downtown shooting given CPR

A victim of a shooting at Edmonton downtown died despite the delivery of CPR. According to police, a 36-year old man was shot at a commercial business near 97th Street and 105A Avenue.

Business on the line

Officers were seen entering the Aftermath Autohaus and the business next door, Carproof AutoRepair. The alley beside the building was also sealed off while the officers searched for evidence. There was blood on the driveway of Aftermath Autohaus along with a jacket and a fanny pack. People were outside the business smoking a cigarette when the shooting occurred.

According to one witness who lives nearby, he saw 2 ambulances arrive and paramedics performing CPR on the victim before he was transported to a healthcare facility.
