Pedestrian who was fatally hit in Vancouver given first aid

First aid was given to a pedestrian who was fatally struck in Vancouver. The man died of his injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Vancouver.

According to the police, the man was crossing Southeast Marine Drive when he was hit by a sedan mid-block near Ross Street. Several witnesses to the crash performed first aid until the arrival of the paramedics according to Const. Jason Doucette. The man was quickly rushed to a healthcare facility but did not survive.
